Senior Technical Officer (ⅰ):-
Essential educational qualifications & experience:- M.Sc. Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology with minimum of 55% marks or B. Pharm a with minimum of 55% marks, and two years working experience in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy/ Herbal drug development.
Desirable experience:- Handling experience of HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MSfor bioprospecting, Chemotaxonomy and herbal drug development as evident from SCI publications/ patents.
Job requirement:- (i) Field collection of medicinal plants, phytochemical analysis using analytical instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MS and selection of elite germplasm,
(ii) Preparation of extracts, quality control, herbal drug/ product development.
Technical Officer:-
Essential educational qualifications & experience:- M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Studies/ Microbiology/ Environmental Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology with 55% marks or B. Tech. in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering/ Industrial Microbiology with 55% marks
Desirable experience:- Two years research experience in handling and performing spectrometry / chromatography / spectroscopy for analytical / bioanalytical work and having SCI publications. Good knowledge of ISO/IEC: 17025 -2017 or GLP practices.
Job requirement:- Expected to assist in day-to-day analytical works using high-end sophisticated equipment such as ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, IC, etc. To assist in method development, validation of methods, quality control and quality assurance, technical support in chemical and molecular analysis of samples. One position is for bioremediation related works and the other is for EIA activities. |
