Main Written Examination and E-Admit Card for Sub Inspector Prohibition and Police Sub Inspector Posts

The Bihar Police Sub-Service Commission is organizing a Joint Main Written Examination for the selection of 64 vacant posts of "Sub-Inspector Prohibition" and "Police Sub-Inspector" in the Liquor Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, Government of Bihar.

Exam Date: 23 June 2024 (Sunday)
Exam Time:

  • First Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (Reporting Time: 08:30 AM)
  • Second Shift: 14:30 PM to 16:30 PM (Reporting Time: 13:00 PM)

E-Admit Card

E-admit cards for the main written examination will be available on the Commission's website from 06 June 2024. Follow these steps to download your e-admit card:

  1. Visit the website: www.bpssc.bih.nic.in
  2. Click on the "Prohibition Dept" tab.
  3. Download your e-admit card and take a printout.

Important: Admit cards will not be sent by post. Candidates must bring a valid photo identity card (such as Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, or Aadhaar Card) along with the e-admit card to the examination centre.

Special Notice

  • Candidates who face difficulty in downloading the e-admit card from the website can obtain a duplicate e-admit card from the office of the Bihar Police Under Service Commission (5, Harding Road, Patna-800001) on 20 June 2024.
  • Details of the examination center will be available on the Commission's website from 06 June 2024.
  • Candidates should ensure that the downloaded e-admit card is correct.
  • Keep the admit card safe even after the examination, as it may be required at the time of the physical efficiency test, record verification, and joining.

Exam Related Instructions

Candidates are advised to study the instructions given on the website before the written examination and practice as per the instructions printed on the answer sheet (OMR Sheet) to avoid any errors.

Critical Times

  • Reporting time for the 1st shift: 08:30 AM
  • Reporting time for the 2nd shift: 13:00 PM
  • Last time of entry: 09:30 AM for the 1st shift and 14:00 PM for the 2nd shift

Note: Entry will not be allowed after the scheduled time under any circumstances.
