This counselling session is for candidates seeking admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) courses across various institutions in Bihar.   • Admission Period: 03.08.2024 to 07.08.2024
  • Slide Up Process up to: 07.08.2024
  • Fresh Choice Filling Or Past Choice Alteration Period: 10.08.2024
  • Application Start Date: 20 June 2024
  • Application Last Date: 26 June 2024

Application Fee:

  • General/EWS/BC/EBC: Rs. 500/-
  • SC/ST: Rs. 350/-
  • The fee can be paid online through various payment methods.

Age Limit:

  • Age as on: 01 January 2024
  • Minimum Age: 17 Years
  • (For Age Relaxation, refer to the official notification.)

Total Seats:

  • Over 30,000 seats available.


Eligibility Criteria:

  1. General Candidates:
    • Must have at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) or an equivalent examination.
  2. Urdu Candidates:
    • Those who have passed the Maulvi examination with 50% marks are eligible.
  3. Vocational Course Candidates:
    • Those who have qualified vocational courses in 10+2 or have completed Intermediate, 10+2 after Madhyama or Intermediate, 10+2 after Fokaania are eligible.
  4. Non-Eligible Candidates:
    • Candidates with qualifications such as Shastri, Polytechnic, ITI, or other similar types are not eligible for enrollment in the D.El.Ed course, as per the directive from the Director of Research and Training, Education Department, Bihar.
